Wall Street English is pleased to announce a development deal that will open the first WSE learning center in southern Africa in the country of Angola. The center is expected to open in March in the Maculusso neighborhood of the capital city of Luanda. This neighborhood is the central business, residential, and commercial area of the city.

Angola will be developed as a joint venture between the owners of the WSE Master Franchise business in Portugal and Spain and local Angolan company United Insight, who have interests in retail and services. English language training fits perfectly into the company’s portfolio. This partnership, which offers extensive Wall Street English franchise experience and local insights, will help guide the success of the new operations in Angola.

“Wall Street English is excited about the opportunity to offer our English language training to the people of Luanda,” said Jim McGowan, COO of Wall Street English. “Our mission is to help people change their future through English. We are excited to welcome our first center in southern Africa and to welcome the students in Angola to the Wall Street English global community.”
